What came first Chicken or the Egg?

Today I’m going to be talking about my point of view about this very serious and interesting question, ‘What came first, chicken or the egg?’  this question has caused confusion, frustration and of course arguments. But today I’m going to fix that, by explaining what actually came first. But before I do that I want to ask what you think came first. Chicken or the Egg? So please can I have a show of hands who thinks the Chicken came first? And another show of hands on who thinks the egg came first?

So when you think about this question thoroughly you find that if you choose the egg you need a chicken to hatch the egg, which then the egg comes out so that means the egg came first, but then again you need a chicken to hatch an egg, so did the chicken come first?

Personally I think the egg came first. My example for this is when you cross a Donkey and a Horse together you get a Mule, so if that happened with an almost Chicken and an almost Rooster about a couple million years ago and the ‘Almost chicken’ hatched an egg, then that egg turned out to be a full chicken, then that means the egg must have come first.

Another reason is evolution, scientists have named the chicken to be the closest living relative of the T-rex so therefore it must have evolved from something right? Scientists are studying    whether chickens have evolved from the T-rex itself, they have this theory because they think that the chicken and T-rex’s bone structure are genetically similar. So if it has evolved from that, then that means an ‘Almost chicken’ hatched an egg which then contained the chicken and again the egg came first.

If we think about this in history context, the egg came first obviously because chicken’s weren’t even existing back then, so this question is basically asking ‘what came first, chicken or the chicken egg?’ but if we don’t think about it like that then that means again the egg came first.

So are you still thinking that the Chicken came first even after all these facts I’ve told you? Now whenever someone asks you ‘What came first, Chicken or the egg?’ you can say the egg,
