This is the science we have been learning in Mrs Green's class, we have been working with methylated spirits in a glass bottle with some rope coming out at the top, she then lights the rope at the top and sets it on fire we put a sheet of steel above it and had the flame coming through it we then placed a can over the top and boiled it till it steamed and bubbled we then placed it into iced water and it sucked all the air out creating a vacuum it was really cool to watch.

Cross country times

These are all the times I have gotten for the block run for croos country the category's of them are either running, walking, jogging or fast walking.

material: Plywood body and back rest.

Where to use: down a steep hill

steering :Rope for steering. Feet also worked.

Idea’s: Paint, spray paint, number plate 16ADA

Questions: we need to find out how to make a brake to stop the kart when we want it too.

Driving question: will we be able to make our own go-kart by ourselves with the materials we have?
